It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of �ֲ���ý Emeritus Trustee Dr. David Sheprow who died January 5, 2018, at Falmouth Hospital at the age of 93.

The �ֲ���ý flag will be lowered in his memory.

Dr. Sheprow had a long association with the �ֲ���ý. He was a visiting investigator in the 1960s and 1970s, was a member of the �ֲ���ý Society (formerly �ֲ���ý Corporation) since 1966, was a member of the �ֲ���ý Associates, and served as a �ֲ���ýTrustee from 1971 to 1977. Dr. Sheprow was also a friend of the �ֲ���ýWHOI Library. In addition to being a Library Reader, he served as the chair of the Library’s Joint Users Committee from 1991 to 2009.
